Environment
Our operations are based on the recycling of scrap. However, brass production involving melting, casting, and pressing affects the environment in many ways and is governed by numerous regulatory requirements and permits from authorities. Through awareness and commitment among all employees, as well as clear environmental objectives, Nordic Brass Gusum continuously works towards ongoing improvements. We take environmental considerations into account in our daily work. We systematically work with environmental issues using an environmental management system that is certified in accordance with SS-EN ISO 14001 by BV in Sweden.

Quality

Our quality is governed by a quality management system that is certified in accordance with SS-EN ISO 9001 by BV in Sweden. The standard requires continuous improvements, control, and analysis of the various processes. Through this, we will become better at meeting our customers’ expressed and unexpressed needs and expectations regarding our products. The quality management system ensures reliable manufacturing and inspection procedures from purchasing to finished product and serves as a guarantee that customer requirements are fulfilled throughout all processes, from quotation to delivery.

Energy
Through our energy policy, we manage our energy objectives. We are certified in accordance with SS-EN ISO 50001. This certification increases our environmental awareness and sets high standards for energy-efficient processes. We further believe that this benefits not only us but also our customers, as you, as a customer, have an energy-conscious supplier.
